For starters, we've had some friends list updates, so you'd better run to the friend add page.

Also. Our new supplants are up. I am not bright enough to figure out the dice rolling (you can point and laugh at me now, Ivory D':) so I was forced to use the hat method. I am not a fan of the results, but I figured I would give it a try before automatically swearing it off. I did throw a couple back in ... it seems Sean and Sylar just REALLY wanted the Infatuation Supplant and I didn't want to change Sylar's sexuality. Not yet, anyway. Some of them had to be changed, so definitely go and check it out. As the comment on the bottom says, all the matches have two weeks before they cannot be changed. Use that time wisely.

A couple of you have already noticed this, but I have made a Suggestion Box. Feel free to use it as you see fit. I will read all the comments and share the ideas with Ilene. Try to remember that a suggestion box is for suggestion -- don't let the anonymity get to your head and make you feel empowered to go on attack. There is no point to such comments and they will be ignored. It has already been used inappropriately, and if this use continues we will start to log IP addresses. I wanted to give you guys a safe way to address us, not a secretive way to break the rules. I will remove any person that continues to personally attack either the mods or the players. This is pretty much why I will not bring back the HMDT because a couple of bad eggs can and will tear down all the players in a game, and I will not allow that to happen.

As Cassie has addressed, it seems commenting in the RPG has dwindled. This could be due to many factors, but some people are taking it personally. There is no rule toward commenting, and there will not be one any time soon. If you would like to see more comments on your entries, you should start commenting on others. Saints were often good at taking the first step, I know I am not a Saint. It can be hard to comment when you are afraid you will not get a response, but a guarantee you that you will get a response. It might take awhile, but nobody in this RPG has any bad will towards another. Not that I know of, anyway.

In other news, the OOC community will be under moderation for the time being. I will do my best to let through entries as soon as they come through, but I am very exhausted by all the instigation and drama stirring going on. I really don't understand what is behind it, besides a dissatisfaction that has only come to light in the past few weeks. I realize that I can't always please everyone, and the fact that I have been trying terribly hard seems to be ignored by many. I am not opposed to questions, but once I have answered your question, even if you don't like the answer, that does not give you the right to carry on. This kind of reaction can and will destroy an RPG. I don't want to see that happen, and I hope none of the rest of you do, either. This is not really a democracy -- if I say no, my answer is no. Even if all your friends agree with you, and you have a beautifully researched side. If you do not like this modding style --- well, that is very sad. But I cannot run the game any other way. This background plot is my idea, and I have to run the game in a way that will let it run its course. I cannot bend the rules for my friends OR for other players, no matter how desperately they want me to. I will not tollerate any more drama stirring. It is pointless and unproductive. There is nothing good coming from it, it is against the rules, and my three strikes rule will be in place from now on. I am tired of being too nice to people who are abusing my generosity. Cross the line and you will find yourself out of the RPG.

Okay. Now that that has been said.

I was very busy this weekend, so I did not have a chance to throw up an entry for people to request injections. We will slate the new CYOIW for next week, from April 12-18th. Please give me your injection choices on this entry or via e-mail.

Speaking of e-mail, someone addressed that they doubt the accuracy of my account. If your e-mail has been ignored for longer than a day, it is likely that I did not get it. I am very quick with my responses, I am on multiple times each day. If you feel that your e-mail was not received, feel free to contact me via AIM and ask if I got it, or if all else fails, send the e-mail again. I won't resent you for being thorough.

I'm also planning on creating a Harmony Mod AIM account. I will announce the name when it is created. You can contact me or Ilene there with questions that are plot sensitive/you don't want revealed on the OOC community. I am on most of the time, and you will be informed of who you are speaking to when you address us.

I believe that is all I have for you at the moment... please note the tag and throw me a comment with your thoughts! And please remember to request any injection you may desire. :)

<3 I really do love you guys. You are making my dream a reality. We're in a rough spot, but I hope we can push through the bad feelings and hard times to let the game flourish again.

Mod Post [27 Mar 2009|10:45am]
Before I state our new rule, I have something I feel I need to say. My last entry was an attempt at democracy -- asking for opinions instead of blindly dictating. I don't see why it turned into a massive argument of people attacking myself, Ilene, and Dannielle. We don't need that, especially Dannielle, who is just a player here, much like yourselves. This was a needless bout of RPG drama that nobody needed to instigate. And for the record, I was not trying to instigate. I was trying to make the RPG better.

There was absolutely no reason to question my self-esteem, or to refer to Dannielle and Ilene as elitist and attack their writing. I am not what one would call a pacifist, but as my position as mod, I have kept myself from reacting to comments that I might normally have leapt upon. But that doesn't make these comments okay. They shouldn't have been here in the first place.

When I make a mod post, don't assume I'm there to attack you. If I have something to say to you, I'll send it to you in an e-mail.

Complaints about the log rule were raised, and I am going to inform you now that they won't be changing. This is a high-literacy RPG, and if you read the rules, you were well aware of that. It has been from day one.

How's My Driving will not be coming back for now. It seems to me that people are already far too happy to snipe at each other, and I don't need any more drama or hurt feelings.

The activity rule will be amended to: We require at least two entries a month, though you are welcome to make as many as you like. This RPG is geared toward interaction, especially the interaction made through comment threads. If you do not comment to others, you cannot expect people will comment on your entries in return.

That is all for now. I have absolutely nothing else to say. And if anyone starts to get snippy on this thread, their comments can and will be deleted. I have no energy or time for angry fights. If you have a problem, well, this is not your choice. I will listen to your opinions if you are not trying to attack pointlessly, but I cannot promise you that a change will be made.

Due to some response on my previous thread, here's another question:

How's My Driving Thread?

Bring it back!

or:

KEEP IT AS FAR AWAY AS PHYSICALLY POSSIBLE.

Yes or no would work, too.

Anonymous for the sake of nobody punching each other about it.

Okay. If any of you have recently checked out the supplant page, you'll see that we have ten new temporary supplants. You also might have noticed the exact supplant isn't specified -- and that's because it is up to you.

As it is said, it is 'one-sided' ... so I would suggest you contacting your new supplant and discussing what exact feelings your character has for theirs. You can go as light or as dark as you want ... from a simple crush or passing interest to a sudden devotion and maddening obsession. Talk it out, figure out between the two of you which you are more interested in.

This has been affectionately called the 'stalker' supplant by us mods. We want it to be an interesting quirk to gameplay, and it's supposed to mess with the characters heads.

At any rate!

All characters on the left will have to visit 'The Doctor' to get these supplants implanted. All that we require is your character be under anesthesia for a short period of time. From a car accident, a dentist appointment, ect ect, this is also up to you (but if it is really dramatic, please ask for mod permission beforehand). This doctor visit will be sometime before the end of the week.

Starting NEXT week, the supplants will take affect. They will not last forever -- we would say about two weeks, perhaps more if you really enjoy the effect -- but they will fade away on their own, without the Doctor's intervention.

Please, contact mods if you are considering something really dark. We appreciate getting the heads up. Any questions, comments, or concerns, hit me up here or send me an e-mail.

I have quite a few people to chat with, considering the list! >:D

Temporary Onesided Supplants. Those supplanted on the left, those with regular attachments on the right.

Jennifer Mallory --- Gabriel “Sylar” Gray

Grell Sutcliff --- Seto Kaiba

Steve Burnside --- Ema Skye

Shawn Spencer --- Shizuka Jounouchi

Jessica Rabbit --- James Sunderland

Dean Winchester --- Claire Redfield

Gregory House --- Allison Cameron

Amber Volakis --- James Wilson

Lilly Kane --- Logan Echolls

Beatrice "Domino" Thurmond --- Mohinder Suresh

Here is the list, for easy access.

Oh, and don't forget to worship your lovely mods daily. It's very important for the prosperity of the RPG! <3

A little late, but give me a break! Hey, that rhymed :D [25 Feb 2009|10:34am]
Well, Cassie has already asked most of the pressing questions, but I did intend to post them here, so. About the pictures in the last entry of [info]harmonytimes;

The 'missing' people are all, one might notice, from fandoms currently in the game. They are meant to be a test to mess with characters. For example, Ellen Rook is Elle Bishop from Heroes, and she's there to mess with Sylar's head. (NOT A GOOD PLAN, AM I RIGHT?) All of the characters are linked to someone in the game currently, if you aren't sure who relates to what, just ask me. I don't think I was exactly subtle with the name changes, but I'll help you out if you need it!

Also, in the case of Elle. Kirsten Bell plays both Elle Bishop and Veronica Mars. Therefor, Logan will recognize her as well.

Lastly, the names have been changed, so this isn't the ACTUAL character. It's just meant to mess with current characters heads, so all of the actual characters are still open to be picked up. For the time being, they're just a fun little plot quirk that I'm using to torment your characters with. >:3

So. Any more questions?

Just a few quick notes! [27 Jan 2009|09:22pm]
Everything is going pretty good, I think. Our first round of injections is wearing off, and from now on, they will be a little more random. I won't be announcing when they'll be given out, they'll just happen!

We have some members who have joined with other characters, so check the Friend Add Page to make sure you have them added.

Also, I've gotten a few questions, so I'd like it if you guys could check out the FAQ Page and check those out.

Lastly, I've given out one more supplant, so you guys might want to check out the Supplant Page and see who the unlucky two are! :D

Anyway, I'm happy to see everybody is active! Keep going on with your bad selves.
