This injection reacts quickly, and your character will feel the side affects as early as three hours after. After some initial nausea, your character will suddenly feel very aroused, almost to a point that they’re in physical pain. Resistance to this is impossible. Your character will have to do some sort of sexual act to suppress the drug. Depending on how long your character is injected, they might have to do multiple acts to continue suppression. If your character has a marriage supplant, they will find having sex with their spouse will quickly lose potency. It is possible that this drug could stay in your system for almost two weeks, but it’s more likely that the Doctor will administer an antidote before then. TYPE B This injection is a slow and steady climb. Side affects will begin the next day, usually, and most characters will be fatigued before. This drug heightens anger, very slowly. Your character will become more and more angry, to the point simple things will become very upsetting. One would think this injection might get someone hurt, but it seems that every time thoughts of violence enters the infected person, they will pass out, and wake up without any symptoms. It generally lasts little more than a few days. TYPE C This injection is the most common (for now). It is administered without obvious side affects. Your character will slowly notice they have more and more energy, and will become much more active than usual. They’ll be much more social and energetic. Feelings of sleepiness and exhaustion are kept at bay. When the character attempts sleep they’ll find they can’t. Slowly, as lack of sleep begins to get to them, even though they still have plenty of energy, their brain’s lack of rest will change their mood to more irritable. Energy will proceed to be more manic and uncontrollable, and the infected will be unable to sit still or focus properly without twitching or having muscle spasms. Some say that pain alleviates the symptoms, at least for a little while. This injection lasts the longest, but once the patient gets highly aggravated, it’s likely that an antidote will be administered. TYPE D This injection is fast acting and has fierce and sudden side affects. Characters will have terrible headaches after it is administered, but they can be mildly managed with non-prescription medication. The next day, the headache will be gone, but your character will feel numb, almost emotionally dead. And soon they will find that the only way to make this numbness go away is to inflict physical pain. Whether it is self-inflicted or done by someone else, your character will begin to enjoy the feeling of pain. From being idly smacked around, very rough sex, or even cutting the skin, the feeling will be painful but enjoyable, and an escape from the dull numbness that overtakes them otherwise. With this injection, characters are prone to violence, if only because they’re trying to get others to react violently back. It’s very likely that with your injection that your character will instruct others to hurt them, especially someone they trust like a signifigant other. Some characters will also find the enjoyment of the pain turn to a feeling that is almost sexual, making them suddenly interested in rough sex or perhaps even dangerous sex, including suffocation play and other dangerous pursuits. This injection also can be more mild than other injections, and some characters will find that it doesn’t affect them strongly enough for them to pursue pain. This injection usually lasts less than ten days. TYPE E This injection is a slow and steady climb. The affects of this injection initially are feelings of being ill, like a mild cold or flu. These symptoms will last a few days. After the feelings of illness begin to fade, your character will begin to feel nervous and anxious around other people, though the reaction is less noticeable around people your characters know best. At the height of this injection, your character will become increasingly frightened in any social situation. This will present differently in some characters. Ones that are already more extroverted will just feel anxious and frightened, but usually will be able to maintain social relations. More introverted characters will become absolutely inept at any type of socialization, and will often refuse to leave their home. Also, characters will be actively repulsed by any type of affection or touch from other characters. Because of how long this injection takes to actually begin, it can last a very long time, sometimes for more than a month, though not often. There is no way to relieve the symptoms of this injection, excluding cutting out any social interactions for the duration of the injection. TYPE F Injection F is one of the slowest to start to affect your character. In fact, it might be given and it’s symptoms appear weeks later. This is the slowest and longest lasting injection available, currently. There is no reaction to this injection when first administered. Slowly, your character will begin to lose desire in food. It’ll start out as a dwindling appetite, and from there continue to decrease until your character is forgetting meals multiple times in a row. Because of this, characters will lose dramatic weight very quickly if they are not regulated by their friends and family. When they do eat, food will be bland and almost tasteless, and nothing will taste good. Obviously, this injection can have very negative affects on characters, especially if they live alone and have nobody paying them express attention. If characters get too skinny or sick, they will be immediately hospitalized and the antidote administered. This injection is less about your character’s reaction, but more the reaction of other characters to yours. This injection can last for months without the antidote administered, but it’s not likely to ever last that long. TYPE G This injection has one of the most immediate side effects. Immediately after receiving this drug, your character will begin ‘seeing things’. Hallucinations, seeing faces of people that are very familiar, and at the same time, someone they’ve never seen before. They will see these people all over the place, and often times will see a different person for a split second when they look at someone. Things will continue to go downhill from there. The character will begin to hear voices, though there is not a particular thing these voices will really say. They often are tormenting, distracting, and disturbing to the character, who will be hesitant to tell anyone of their symptoms. Paranoia will build up until the point the character is extremely afraid and anxious all the time. They will be prone to random acts of violence and emotion. Suicidal thoughts and actions are not uncommon. This injection is sudden and powerful, and usually ends in a character being hospitalized for a couple of days. It usually doesn’t last long – usually no more than five days. TYPE H This injection is much like Injection A, but slightly different. As with injection A, after administration characters will feel tired and have a headache, but when they wake up the next day, they will have an itch they cannot control. Their mind will be overwhelmed with the thoughts of some sort of sexual interaction with someone they usually would not consider. For example, a heterosexual female would be attracted to other females, while a homosexual male would be attracted to females, vice versa. This itch will become maddening if the character does not act on this urge in some way, but unlike Injection A, it does not necessarily have to be a sexual act. Just getting overly affectionate with touch will be enough for some characters (Hugging, touching, ect). However, some will find themselves unable to stop themselves from something rash if they touch someone, so proceed with caution. This injection rarely lasts longer than two days. TYPE I This injection is similar to Type B in the side effects and length of symptoms. This injection is a slow and steady climb. Side affects will begin the next day, usually, and most characters will be fatigued before. This drug will slowly begin to affect your character. Your character will become more and more vulnerable to comments and will begin to feel very depressed. They can and will be come suicidal, and feel lost and alone. Their feelings of sadness will be overwhelming. Usually, this injection is moderated to keep a person from actually taking their life. It generally lasts little more than a few days. TYPE J This injection is similar to Type B in the side effects and length of symptoms. This injection is a slow and steady climb. Side affects will begin the next day, usually, and most characters will be fatigued the day before. This drugs affects are very slow. Your character will slowly feel more and more cheerful. Things that would usually bother them will not phase them at all. They will feel compelled to do nice things for others, and will compliment others and likely seek social interaction. This will be increasingly confusing for characters who are not normally so happy. There are very few side affects, and usually this injection will wear off on its own, usually it lasts no longer than seven days. TYPE K This injection has a very fast reaction time. Symptoms will accumulate very quickly and will not last long. After injection is received, the character will be very tired, and in some cases have a slight headache. During the length of this injection, the character will have one of their senses (sight, smell, touch, taste, hearing) completely overloaded. Players will be able to choose what sense is affected. It will start slowly. We will be using sight as an example. Colors will seem brighter and more vivid, and pictures more clear. Initially this seems like a good thing, and the character will likely not question the change. However, quickly things will get progressively worse -- colors discerningly bright, light overpowering. (Obviously, this will change for each sense.) They will feel overwhelmed and disoriented in most situations, and will from time to time hide to attempt to remove the power of the said sense. Near the end of this injection, they will feel physical pain when that sense is triggered. This injection normally does not last long, no more than a handful of days. TYPE L This injection is somewhat similar to Type K. This injection has a very fast reaction time. Symptoms will accumulate very quickly and will not last long. After injection is received, the character will be very tired, and in some cases have a slight headache. During the length of this injection, the character will have one of their senses (sight, smell, touch, taste, hearing) completely lost. Players will be able to choose what sense is affected. It will start slowly. We will be using sight as an example. Colors will seem less interesting and vivid, and pictures perhaps more blurry. The changes will be insignificant at best, and the character will likely not question the change. However, quickly things will get progressively worse -- eventually, the sense will be completely removed (resulting in deafness, blindness, ect). After the sense is completely removed, it is likely that the character will be taken into the emergency room. This injection normally does not last long, no more than a handful of days. TYPE M This injection is highly controlled, and is rarely given without a reason. You will receive specific instructions on how long it will last. This injection is often used in conjunction with Type N. This injection has no side affects after administration and effects are seen immediately. Your character will find themselves unable to tell a lie. There are some gray areas in this, they can tell a half truth or not disclose all information, but they would be unable to give a flat out lie, despite how hard they may try. Take note that this effect is only in person (a character conversing online will not have that issue, but by telephone they would). In fact, the more they fight against telling the truth, they will give themselves headaches and even get a sense of pain if they struggle. This injection is usually used for interrogation. Watchers will closely monitor those who are given this injection. TYPE N This injection is highly controlled, and is rarely given without a reason. You will receive specific instructions on how long it will last. This injection is often used in conjunction with Type M. This injection has no side affects after administration and effects are seen immediately. Your character will find themselves unable to keep them thoughts to themselves, quite literally blurting out whatever might enter their thoughts. There is no restriction to this, anything your character might be thinking must be spoken, though take note that this effect is only in person (a character conversing online will not have that issue, but by telephone they would). In fact, the more they fight against speaking their thoughts aloud, they will give themselves headaches and even get a sense of pain if they struggle. This injection is usually used for interrogation. Watchers will closely monitor those who are given this injection. TYPE O This injection is a slow climb. It has basic side effects; some nausea and discomfort, some characters will be tired afterwards. Slowly, your character will become much more attached to another character. Usually, it will be player's digression who, exactly, their character will focus on (it is usually someone that character is already attached and close to), but during plot events, mods might choose randomly or select a focus for you. This injection has two pointed side effects: Firstly, your character will become very invested in this other character. They will want to be around them as often as possible, perhaps ignore other characters in favor of said character, and often times become uncharacteristically affectionate. They do not necessarily have to think of the other character romantically, but this is often how the injection will turn out. Secondly, your character will become very jealous and protective of this other character. They will see refusals of their attention as rejection and become very hurt, and will become possessive and angry when the character interacts with others, often reacting angrily or even violently. It is not uncommon for characters to become paranoid and have unrealistic thoughts or worries about their obsession. A character will never react angrily or violently towards their focus, however. This injection must receive an antidote to be removed. Time frame for this injection changes too frequently -- but it will never be removed until said character has reached the height of their obsession and possessiveness. TYPE P This injection has a fairly slow reaction time. Upon injection, initial symptoms are unnoticeable -- a slight stiffness and soreness, but nothing noticeable. Slowly, your character will begin to feel very sore. Regardless of how much they have been moving around or how active they are, they will find that they cannot find relief. Many will slowly try to stop being active, moving around less and going out more. This will unfortunately not sedate the aggravation. It will continue to intensify until the character is in intense pain, all of the time. Medicine will become ineffective, and characters will often begin to take too many pain killers to try to escape it. After a point they will not even be able to function anymore -- move, sleep, eat, anything -- because the pain is simply too intense to bear. Characters will not often see the height of this injection, as it is debilitating and it has terrible results (characters will often never fully recover if they get to the height of this injection). This injection is used mostly as an interrogation device, but it will be administered randomly as well. This injection must be removed via antidote. Most times characters will be brought to the emergency room or hospital after their experience with this injection. TYPE Q This injection is very similar to injection C. It is administered without obvious side affects. Your character will slowly notice they have less and less energy, and will become much more tired than usual. They will often become more secluded and find it hard to focus because exhaustion will become distracting. Your character will find it harder to get out of bed in the morning, and find the desire to go to bed earlier. As the injection progresses, your character will find that they will not be able to stay awake as long as they usually do for less than normal sleeping times. Soon, a character will be sleeping and hardly able to stay up for more than a couple hours at a time. At the height of the injection, the character will be almost impossible to wake at all. Some say that pain alleviates the symptoms, at least for a little while. Once the patient gets to the point of extreme exhaustion, it’s likely that an antidote will be administered. On its own, the injection will fade in about a week. TYPE R This injection has minimal side effects after administration -- characters will find themselves a little sore, but not terribly. The general stiffness can be removed quickly with a little aspirin but it will go away after a night. This injection is slow to begin work. Slowly, characters will find themselves a little less balanced, and will trip a little more often and run into things more. This will start out rather unnoticeable, but as days (and in some cases, weeks) go by, the disorientation will intensify. Sort of like vertigo that never goes away, characters will have trouble doing anything accurately. Their limbs will become hard to control and managed, and they will often jerk or twitch uncontrollably. While the injection can last for a very long time, an antidote is usually administered after two weeks or so, or after an injury serious enough to land a character in the hospital. TYPE S This injection is not terribly remarkable upon administration, excluding the fact that it must be administered at a medical facility (either by a nurse or a doctor). Usually said medical professional will claim the injection is a vaccine or something similar. This injection is noticeably red in color. This injection works very slowly. The changes are not immediately noticeable, and oftentimes, the the sudden realization is quite random. This injection causes your character to find pain enjoyable, whether it be a stubbed toe or the knick of a papercut. No other changes occur, your character will not become depressed or reclusive. They will just find the sensation of pain immensely satisfying, to the point they will begin to seek it out. The preference of most characters is for someone else to inflict pain upon them, and your character might try to anger someone enough to make them lash out. However, if they are not brave enough for such a tactic and cannot find a willing party, they can and will turn to injuring themselves. Characters with more self control will have an easier time with this injection, as they will keep themselves from causing too much harm, but those easily swayed by suggestion can seriously damage themselves. Characters under this injection will have a sudden interest in rough and pain motivated sexual encounters. This injection can last a month, easily, but usually will fade in intensity to an unnoticeable degree after a week or two. TYPE T This injection is not terribly remarkable upon administration, excluding the fact that it must be administered at a medical facility (either by a nurse or a doctor). Usually said medical professional will claim the injection is a vaccine or something similar. This injection is noticeably blue in color. This injection works very slowly. The changes are not immediately noticeable, and oftentimes, the the sudden realization is quite random. This injection causes your character to find pain of others enjoyable, whether it be a slight trip or running into something. No other changes occur, your character will not become depressed or reclusive. They will just find the sensation of pain in others immensely satisfying and stimulating, to the point they will begin to seek it out. Some characters may linger in more dangerous areas to try and encounter violence, but those less passive might start to inflict it on others. Characters can be very dangerous while under the influence of this injection, as the pain of others can become too intoxicating for them to stop. Characters with more self control will have an easier time with this injection, as they will keep themselves from causing too much harm, but those easily swayed by suggestion can seriously damage others. Characters under this injection will have a sudden interest in rough and pain motivated sexual encounters. This injection can last a month, easily, but usually will fade in intensity to an unnoticeable degree after a week or two. TYPE U This injection has no symptoms. It begins to work a day or two after administration. During this injection, your character will suddenly become very attractive to all other characters. Nothing else about them will change, excluding the fact that all characters will react to them differently. No matter how off-putting and harsh your character tries to be, they will find that everyone they meet is infatuated, and possibly even attracted to them. Expect your character to be randomly kissed, stalked, and people to continually try to force them into conversation. It isn't abnormal for people to follow your character home, or show up at their house randomly, and never want to leave their presence. Depending on the character, the reaction will be less, but all characters will feel it to some extent. Some will just be better at controlling it. This injection can last upwards of a month, but usually wears off after about two or so. TYPE V This injection causes exhaustion for the first couple days after administration. Your character will feel as if they had just experienced a major bender and need to sleep it off. Once this injection begins to affect them, they will begin to feel strange. Their emotions will become manic and uncontrollable, from ridiculously happy to mindlessly depressed. They will have spare energy and have trouble sleeping, and they will find it harder to focus. Characters will often begin to do unwise and unsafe things, and not think of the consequences. They will be hard to control and very unreasonable. This injection can last for extended periods of time. It is usually removed after a character has hurt themselves or someone else, or they are taken to the hospital by a worried loved one. |
